2016 has been rough, but one woman is out to make it better with a simple life hack: A fridge wine dispenser.

Clare Potts, the 28-year-old English hero behind the lifestyle blog I Like Tweet, posted a photo to Twitter on December 11 with a refrigerator upgrade for the ages. On the left of the picture, a hand pours a bottle of white wine into the drawer of the fridge. On the right side, the fridge’s water dispenser is releasing the wine from the first picture into a glass. “My adult life just peaked,” Potts correctly summarized the photo.

“We’ve just bought a house and we’re in the process of buying all the grown up things we need,” Potts told Mashable. “My boyfriend Joe was telling me [the fridge] came with a wine rack and I just said, ‘why don’t we just put it in the water cooler?’ It seemed like the obvious thing to do.”

Before you get too excited and start pouring bottles of wine into your fridge, there are some things to be aware of. First off, the wine is exposed to the open air, picking up all the fridge smells. It’s also oxidizing very quickly, which is your wine’s worst nightmare.

Second, your fridge tap is going to get disgusting if you don’t clean it. You’ll need to run it with water and some cleaner to wash all of the sticky wine residue out. Ignore that last step after each bottle of wine you put in, and you’ll end up drinking mold spores. You can always use some pure, stupid-high alcohol by volume grain alcohol like Everclear to wash it out if you want to stick with the alcohol theme, though.

That said, don’t let facts stand in the way of a good time if you have a capable refrigerator. Ignore consequences, if just for a moment, and treat yourself to some fridge-dispensed wine. You deserve it.
