Stood at the bar desperate for something different than your usual? Perhaps you’ve got that ‘been there, done that’ attitude with your regular tipple?

Take a look at the alcoholic beverages commonly sipped by the stars and shake up your ordinary choice.

  1. Bourbon Sour

Made with Bourbon, lemon juice, soda water and sugar, it’s a sweet taste. Johnny Depp has listed this as his all time favorite drink.

  1. Margarita

Jennifer Aniston has happily declared this as her favorite cocktail. A little sweet, a little sour and with plenty of bite. Also a common favourite by Queen Bey.

     3. Armand de Brignac Champagne

Jay-Z clearly has flawless taste, so it’s no surprise that he’s listed this as his favourite tipple.

  1. White Russian

Kim Kardashian claims she ‘rarely drinks much’, but when she is craving a cocktail she’s known to enjoy a White Russian. Made with vodka, coffee, and cream, it makes for a tasty treat.

  1. Jack on the Rocks

A classic combination, known to all and apparently one of Sting’s favourites!

  1. Tequila

Angelina Jolie is a tequila girl at heart! Who knew? Mind you, you’d probably need a strong drink if you were her.

  1. Gin and Tonic

Classic and traditional. A far stretch from her signature ‘Butterbeer’ drink. JK Rowling is known to go straight to a class G+T when she’s standing at the bar.

  1. Pomegranate Martini

Vodka, Cointreau, pomegranate juice, and lemon, mixed together and served in a classic martini glass. One of Madonnas all time favourites.

  1.  Sappro beer

Simon Cowell claims Sappro beer is one of the few beers he can fully enjoy. That’s good news for anyone who doesn’t want to reach for the spirits when their drinking habits are strictly beer-based.

  1. Lemon Drop Martini (or sometimes pomegranate)

Place Vodka, Triple Sec, lemon juice and sugar, a very sweet taste but one that Oprah has ranked as her number beverage choice.
